When did you start your career as a model?

Beginning of 2014.

You where discovered while working as a photo assistant, how did this happen?

I assisted Jeroen W Mantel for a while and a lot of times people on set would tell me to model. So when I moved to Amsterdam I decided to just go for it.

Are you still working on your photography?

I am definitely still working on my photography. I’m planning a 6 month trip to Iceland to really take it to the next level.

What are you interested in photographing?

I’m most interested in Land and cityscapes. I love trying to capture an mood or atmosphere rather than just an object.

How is it different to work in NY compared to Amsterdam?

NY is a way bigger scene so it’s much easier to work here and meet new people. Altough Asmterdam has some really great people working there is just not enough happening.

Most interesting story from NY?

Most interesting story in NY, that’s a good question. I don’t have one particular story. I really try to enjoy every day as much as I can. I love to walk around brooklyn with my camera during sunset.

How do you spend your time when not working?

I try meeting people as much as I can. Otherwise I’m taking pictures outside. I wish I read more, but I get distracted really easy.

Favourite Shoot?

My first time shooting with my twin brother for L’officiel.

Favourite magazine?

My favourite magazine is probably GUP, a Dutch photography magazine.

Favourite Designer/Brand?

I’m obsessed with Rick Owens and Boris Bidjan Saberi. But I really like brands like Acne Studios and A.P.C. as well.

Favourite photographer?

It’s hard to pick one. But I’m really into Chris McCaw at the moment.

What is your favourite band right now?

Darkside

What is your favourite city?

Amsterdam

Book/movie that changed your life?

The Ruler – Machiavelli

Where are you in 5 years

Hopefully pursuing my photography traveling the world.
