Since June is the Pride month, Converse shows support to the LGBTQ community with its fun and colorful Pride Sneaker Collection for 2017.
The collection is inspired by the first LGBTQ pride parade that took place in New York City in 1970, and it features a variety of colors and prints that aims to celebrate all genders, orientations and identities.
Based on a rainbow color palette, the range presents five different styles, including rainbow hues and patches, gradient designs, multi-color laces, textured outsoles and rubber details.
Also to help the worldwide LGBTQ community, Converse Pride Sneaker Collection proceeds of direct sales will go to It Gets Better and The Happy Hippie Foundation.
Converse defines its Pride Sneaker Collection as:
“March at your local pride parade in unity with a pair of Converse pride shoes. Show your support for the LGBTQ community with limited-edition Chuck Taylor All Star ‘70s, inspired by the first pride parade in 1970 in New York City.”
