Tapas, Wine & Water – new cookbook by food photographer KLAUS ARRAS for Staatl. Fachingen in coop with Henne.Weinbar, plus hunting scenes with food staged in BEEF!
KLAUS ARRAS has once again realized a cookbook for STATTLICH. FACHINGEN, the premium German brand for healing water and mineral water. Unlike previous projects, he had total creative freedom to develop both concept and design. “Important for me in realizing the project was to convey the transparent lightness with which this spring water flows, figuratively, in a modern and contemporary way in the cookbook. For the chapters Without Fish and Meat, From the Water, From the Meadow, and Out of the Cold, I deliberately chose an order that was not what would be considered classic.”
The recipes for the book were put together by Henrik Olfen. Following his work for award-winning, Michelin-starred restaurants such as Traube Tonbach or La Vision, the passionate Chef has now opened his own restaurant: the Henne.Weinbar in Cologne. Tapas, Wine & Water presents an exclusive selection of Olfen’s favorite recipes from the restaurant based on the culinary culture of tapas. The perfect, imperfectly arranged food styling was once again in the hands of Katja Briol.
As of April 2020, the book is available free of charge for customers purchasing a case of Staatl. Fachingen water in participating beverage markets.
The hunting scenes with food staged in the style of classic home-style cooking by Cologne-based food photographer Klaus Arras presented here on GoSee were now published in a quite amusing story in the first BEEF! 2020/1 issue.
